Should I Meet In Person and Interview Entertainers Before Booking?

Absolutely! Whenever possible meet in person with entertainers that you are planning on hiring to assess whether or not they are the right fit for you. You are conducting and interview of the DJ entertainment you’re considering.

IMPORTANT! If you don’t feel comfortable with the DJ at your meeting, DON’T hire them! Move onto a better qualified candidate.

Attempt to meet during regular business hours to locate serious full-time entertainers that will focus on you and your event with the attention that you deserve.

Pay close attention to;

• • attire,
  • discretion,
  • relatable experiences,
  • mannerisms and
  • professional courtesy.

If the entertainment you are considering shows up to your interview intoxicated or high, they are showing what little respect they have for you and your event. If this is common behavior for the entertainer they could be one DUI or arrest away from being unable to fulfill the contract for your event.
